Artist Statement

Moving to Bobcaygeon has had a profound change in my life, where I was suddenly in a world of trees and lakes.  My love of the outdoors and the spirits of the woods has always captured my interest to enjoy all aspects of carving and sculpting.  Now, what seems like minutes are actually hours as I immerse myself in a simple piece of wood and allow the natural shape to dictate what the finished piece will be.

Carving is a passion for something- just open your eyes and minds and allow yourselves to see the forest and the trees.
