Artist Statement

I became involved in woodturning after my retirement and found a new passion. I turn pens, bowls, platters, candlesticks and other items that catch my fancy. I work with local and exotic woods as well as acrylics. I am addicted to woodturning and its products, and to the ability to create beautiful objects with my own hands.

I served as President of the Kawartha Woodturners Guild for four years and as the founding President of the Artisans Centre Peterborough for seven years.
