Artist Statement

Fifteen years ago, a one day workshop changed the direction my art would take. It fit my out of the box thinking. My vision has always been to create fun and functional pieces of glass using a kiln. Heating glass between 1250 F to 1700 F allows me to create movement and flow of glass. I use all forms of glass, float or window glass, tempered glass and specially tested art glass.

My creations include sculptural pieces, art, functional bowls, plates and platters and even jewelry. Working with glass has allowed me to experiment with heat, colour and structure.

Each piece has a story to tell.
